Step by step
Travelers entering Korea normally follow these five steps. Keep following the airport signs if your walking route looks different.
After leaving the aircraft, follow signs for Arrivals or Immigration. Do not follow Transfer or Connecting Flights signs unless you are connecting to another flight.
Keep your passport and any entry documents required for your travel status ready. Requirements depend on your nationality, visa status and travel circumstances.
Check the airport screens for the baggage belt assigned to your flight. If your baggage does not arrive, contact your airline or the baggage service desk before leaving the baggage claim and customs area.

Once you enter the public arrival hall, check your internet connection, accommodation address, payment method and transport plan before leaving the airport.
Know your terminal
Confirm the terminal first, then use the map as an orientation aid for the arrival hall. Current flight information and airport signs take priority over fixed locations.
Terminal 1 is a separate building. Check your airline or the official airport arrival timetable before travel and follow the signs shown after landing.
Terminal 2 is not connected to Terminal 1 by a walking route. Use the airport's current inter-terminal transport guidance if you need to change terminals.
It shows immigration, baggage claim, customs, arrival exits and common services such as SIM counters, currency exchange, rail, buses, taxis and rental cars. Facility positions and movement routes may change.
Before moving on
Complete the checks that matter for your trip. Not every traveler needs the same SIM, transport card or payment product.
Choose an eSIM, roaming or airport Wi-Fi based on what is already available to you.
Keep the English address and, if possible, the Korean address. Confirm the location in your map app.
Check whether you will use cash, an overseas payment card or another travel payment method. WOWPASS is optional, not a requirement for every traveler.
